Care Guide
How to maintain and preserve your 3D printed art piece for years to come.
General Care
Cleaning
Keep your piece looking pristine with regular, gentle cleaning:
- Use a soft, dry brush or microfiber cloth for dusting
- For deeper cleaning, use slightly damp cloth with water only
- Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials
- Pat dry immediately if any moisture is used
Display
Proper placement ensures your piece stays beautiful:
- Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading
- Avoid areas with extreme temperature changes
- Display on stable surfaces away from edges
- Keep away from moisture and humidity
Handling
Handle your piece with care to maintain its integrity:
- Always hold from the base or thickest parts
- Avoid touching delicate details or thin sections
- Clean hands before handling to prevent oil transfer
- Move slowly and deliberately when relocating
Material-Specific Care
PLA / PLA+
Our most common material. Durable and easy to maintain. Avoid heat above 140°F (60°C). Can be gently washed with room temperature water if needed.
Resin
High-detail material with smooth finish. More fragile than PLA. Keep away from prolonged UV exposure. Handle delicate details with extra care.
What to Avoid
- Never use alcohol, acetone, or chemical cleaners
- Avoid leaving in hot cars or near heat sources
- Don't submerge in water for extended periods
- Never use abrasive scrubbers or rough cloths
- Avoid dropping or subjecting to impact
Long-Term Storage
If you need to store your piece temporarily:
- Keep in original packaging if available
- Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight
- Use acid-free tissue paper for wrapping if needed
- Avoid stacking pieces on top of each other
